Remember to measure your piano properly to avoid unpleasant surprises. Move any objects or furniture that could obstruct the walkway when the mover arrives. A preliminary preparation is necessary.
Small upright pianos measure in height from 1m10 to 1m20 while concert upright pianos can measure up to 1m50 or more in some cases.
For grand pianos, the smallest model is the toad, which is about 1m40 long. It is followed by the quarter-tail, half-tail, three-quarters tail, the grand piano and the grand concert piano, which can measure up to 2.90 m in length.
